Much of a logistics account manager’s time is spent balancing between pursuing new sales prospects and handling your current accountsDaily, you will be tasked with negotiating rates, executing sales calls, providing, and creating solutions, as well as providing stellar customer serviceActivities, customers, loads vary daily so that no two are alike; providing ample opportunities to be as successful as you want to be with us.

Major duties and responsibilities (but not limited to)
Act as communication liaison between customer, carriers, and consignees.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers and carriers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
Maintain contact with carriers throughout the duration of the shipment
Problem solving and identifying solutions that r5 logistics, inc™ can provide for our customers
Make daily sales calls to potential customers
Closing new business through daily communication with prospective customers
Maintaining sales pipeline through persistent follow-up via phone, email, and coordinating face to face meetings
Minor duties and responsibilities (but not limited to)
Maintain updated carrier files
Prioritize calls and emails according to urgency and importance
Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
Provide carriers with needed information for the pickup and delivery of all loads
