Responsibilities:
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations.
Generate market penetration opportunities to ensure key decision makers are familiar with product offerings and increase exposure with end-users.
Cultivate interactions with large/key projects in target areas through market research.
Interpret specific customer requirements by collecting information and analyzing needs against technical product specifications.
Manage sales opportunities using crm systems or other identified business tools.
Provide pricing and related product information at point of sale.
Manage overall customer experience from quoting to follow-ups.
Assist in marketing and promotional material generation.
Attend national trade shows to promote brand recognition.
Assesses competitors by analyzing & summarizing competitor information, trends, & identifying sales opportunities.
Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries, verifying, and entering information
Performs other duties as assigned

Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field or
At least 3-5 years of related experience required
Experience in wire and cable manufacturing or distribution business (preferred)
Must have valid driver’s license (required)
