Raines feldman llp is fast growing and dynamic national law firm, with opportunities to work on a variety of transactions for clients in diverse industriesOur corporate practice group focuses on complex transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, finance, fund formations and corporate governanceThe firm is comprised of a team of highly experienced transactional and litigation attorneys from some of the nation`s most elite law firmsWe are looking for candidates who can and are looking to assume immediate responsibility and who are willing to work as an integral part of a high performing and collaborative team.
Job summary: candidates should have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate transactional matters, including emerging company and startup corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate, partnership, and limited liability company governance, fund formations, equity and debt financings and securities laws, business contracts, asset sales, tender and exchange offers, and other strategic transactionsPreferred candidates would have experience as a lead associate on transactions, with experience drafting and reviewing definitive transaction agreements and managing all other aspects of a strategic transaction to closing.
Requirements:
5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate transactional matters
Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage client relationships
Strong academic background, client management skills and superior drafting and negotiation skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently
Generate high quality work product in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical skills to successfully troubleshoot and resolve issues
Thrives in a collaborative, performance driven environment
