Genomics technical sales specialist
Responsibilities:
Rapid genomics would like you to join our commercial sales teamThis position will focus on the success, satisfaction, and growth of the rapid genomics client family.
As the genomics technical sales specialist, you will:
· grasp and translate technical and complex genomic concepts, details, and capabilities to ascertain the needs of the customer.
· integrate and drive the sales process, focusing on customer satisfaction and growth.
· identify growth and nurture new opportunities within specialized market segments
· develop and continuously update a complete and accurate prospective client database (accounts, former clients, prospective new clients, and recommenders) from a variety of resources in a company sponsored database, crm or sfa
· align data to company targeted geography, industries, company size and job titles (decision makers and influencers).
· prioritize and manage personal resources to optimize daily productivity
· travel to customers and industry trade events
Position is located at main office in gainesville, fl, but remote availability will be consideredScheduled travel for sales meetings is required.
Requirements:
Bs or ba in biology or related field and a track record of reliability, productivity, and team-based success through previous work experienceProfessional sales presence with effective communication skills is essentialProficient in ms office suite and salesforce or equivalent customer management databaseA minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a technical sales role is preferredKnowledge of genomics and related factors are considered a plusThe successful candidate will start immediately.
A competitive remuneration package with base salary plus commission is available commensurate with qualifications and experienceThe successful candidate will start immediately.
