Ravyn is a manufacturer of defense articlesWe bid on requirements posted by the us government related to system design, analysis, prototyping, production, testing, and operations/logistics supportWe manufacture solid-fuel and cruise missiles, artillery, precision-guided munitions, solid rockets, launchers, fixed-wing uas, aerial targets, sounding rockets, and related subsystemsRavyn has the partners and expertise to rapidly prototype a fieldable weapon system at a low cost for a military customer.

Responsibilities can include:
- hiring freelancers/consultants on upwork or other to carry out specialized tasks cost-effectively (for example, corporate income tax filing).
- bookkeeping in quickbooks online, along with a solid knowledge of accounting principles
- experience in tax filing, corporate income tax filing, the tax code.
- managing the company`s registrationsThe company has registrations with de, ca, ddtc, business licenses, and many associated with software, cloud services, regulatory compliance or doing federal businessThese are documented and must be maintained and updated yearlyPart of this includes corporate income tax preparation, statements of information, annual filingsThis also includes dd-2345, joint certification program.
- familiarity with the code of federal regulations (cfr), us code (usc), and other lawsFamiliarity with far, dfars, itar, fcc, phmsa, and other regulations are desired.
- hiring engineering roles for contract proposalsSupporting contract proposals, some proposal writing as neededShould be familiar with dod contracting, other transaction agreements, ota consortia, broad agency announcements, rfps, rfqs, solicitations, white papersWeapons system procurement, source selection, and bid preparation desired.
- manage cybersecurity requirementsDfars 7000 has implemented cybersecurity requirements for government contractorsThese include nist sp 800-171, a self assessment, configuring cloud services to meet these security requirements, and self assessment (basic) in sprsFamiliarity with nist 800-172.
This will also include cybersecurity maturity model certification (cmmc) by an independent third-party assessment.
The applicant need not be an expert in cybersecurity, but should be familiar enough to understand the goal and find consultants and coordinate the projects if neededFamiliarity with dod cloud computing security requirements guide (srg) and impact levels.
- apply for and maintain a facility security clearancePerson should have experience as a facility security officer (fso) and/or with the application process to get a facility clearance (fcl)Familiarity with nispom national industrial security program operating manual, dodd 5220.22Familiarity with configuring and managing nispom-compliant information systems and cloud computing systems is desiredFamiliarity with us industrial securityFamiliarity with cui, national security systems (nss), and classified information.
Estimated 10-30 hours per weekHours are flexible, employees should complete work on their own time, and be self-supervised with occasional meetingsPrefer candidates be available weekends occasionallyEstimated hourly pay is $15-45 per hour starting but can be higher depending on experience, qualificationsCompensation will increase greatly with contract wins, possibly transitioning to a full or part time position with benefits.
Initially, payment will be via 1099 contractor compensation.
