Job overview
This role will allow you to join a small, focused team in the exciting and nascent space of virtual corporate eventsYou’ll be reporting to the vp of engineering and will contribute significantly to the architecture and direction of our site frontends.
You should be comfortable owning projects and turning designs & specs into beautiful user interfacesWe’re an early-stage start-up, so each member of our team wears multiple hats.
You should also be comfortable taking an idea, developing it with input from the team and our customers and bringing it to fruitionYou will have access to mentorship as well as a high degree of agency.
Our systems primarily consist of vuejs + tailwind css (with php backends) and jinja (with a django backend) customer-facing frontends, and you’ll primarily be responsible for the former.
Required qualifications
Expert in javascript & css
3+ years of experience with a modern javascript framework, preferably vuejs
Ability to transform sketch designs in modular, accessible user interfaces
Experience implementing modern frontend best-practices and advising on new technology adoption
A self-starter - you thrive in an autonomous environment and take pride in the work you deliver
We’re a remote-first company, but are looking for a candidate within up to 3 hours (+/-) of est
Bonus experience
Leading a frontend engineering team
Understanding of git, github and continuous integration & deployment
Experience with tailwind css, php or laravel
Experience with jinja & django
Discipline writing automated tests
