Devise test strategy for testing red hat solution blueprints
Create automated testing pipeline to test and validate various red hat’s multi-product blueprints
Develop new frameworks and use existing tools for test automation and execution
Design and implement complex test scenarios including the automation
Close cooperation with developers on the new product features and participation in sprint planning
Analyze and prioritize the quality risks and determine the tests required to mitigate them
Act as an internal advocate for our customers
Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
Perform integration and automated testing
Develop examples and documentation in support of the usage of multi-product blueprints
Participate in the design and development of core features for the multi-product blueprints
Document new bugs and advocate their resolution with developers
Communicate the impact of bugs to customers with developers and support
Required skills:
Bachelor`s degree or higher or an equivalent in computer science or a related field
Solid experience with linux-based infrastructures and linux or unix administration
Experience administering and deploying development (ci) and continuous delivery (cd) tools such as git, jira, gitlab, argocd, tekton, gitops, or jenkins
6+ years of experience working as a software quality engineer
Experienced in object-oriented programming language like python
Persistent in troubleshooting and root cause analysis under linux
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies with minimal guidance
Proven written and verbal english skills
Ability to collaborate productively in a remote environment
The following are considered a plus:
Knowledge and familiarity with ruby or golang
Knowledge and familiarity with kubernetes and containers, red hat ceph storage, and red hat application services
Knowledge of amazon web services (aws) ec2, google compute engine (gce), or microsoft azure
