Manage a team of 8 - 10 processors which will include training new hires, load balancing workloads, and prioritizing their pipelines.
Be responsible for monitoring our pipeline upstream and downstreamThis manager will be expected to observe volume coming into the operation via our mortgage advisors and ensure timely and accurate preparation of files for the underwriting and closing departments.
Partner with mortgage advisor, underwriting, closing, secondary, and compliance team leads to ensure loans are closed on time, customers are delighted, and loan quality is impeccable.
Research problem incidents such as borrower neutral/detractor surveys, quality defects, and process inefficiencies and resolve issues causing sub-optimal performance.
Work closely with our in-house development team to improve our proprietary loan origination system.

Requirements:
5 - 10 years of relevant experience in the field of mortgage operations and/or underwriting
Ability to effectively use verbal and written communication to coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams
A background with varied loan products such as fha & va is a plus
Must have 3 - 5 plus years of managing people which includes, performance, hiring, training and development
