Full job description
· review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
· create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure software quality, prevent software defects and eliminate regressions.
· estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
· identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
· perform thorough regression testing
· develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
· liaise with internal teams (e.gDevelopers and product managers) to identify system requirements
· stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
· at least two (2) years of proven work experience in software quality assurance
· must have strong knowledge of sdlc
· knowledge of software qa methodologies, tools, and processes
· experience in generating of test plans, test scripts and issue tracking
· experience with both white box and black box testing
· experience with both web and windows applications
· knowledge of sql, comfortable querying data and working in technical environment.
· excellent problem-solving skills relative to testing and technical issues.
· working knowledge of microsoft team foundation server and microsoft test manager a plus
