Our fast-paced insurance office is looking to fill an insurance sales agent and customer service positionThis position is full time, working with new and existing clients needing insurance quotes, policy changes, or coverage reviewsThis position offers a base salary + bonus opportunities.
Job responsibilities:
New prospects/clients: develop insurance quotes, present proposal to client, and close the sale; meet new business production goals and objectives as establishedSolicits for new business via cross or up selling/account rounding.
Existing clients: process customer policy change requests; complete evidence of insurance requests; handle incoming claim calls from customers; document each customer contact in office management system; take premium payments from customers; ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program; treat each customer contact as a time to review the clients policy and inform them of new carrier coverage offerings; verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
Other: immediately greet all customers in a friendly and helpful manner; responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
Job requirements:
· be able to obtain or currently possess a property & casualty insurance license.
· strong communication skills, both oral and written.
· driven and goal-oriented individual.
· ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
· confident, self-starter who works well independently.
