Full job description
The ideal candidate for this role will help our software engineering team deliver faster, better, and more consistently, and be responsible for end-to-end support of our growing company.
You are someone who
Can identify bottlenecks, and perform profiling, and load testing
Is confident in your work and knows developers that are smart enough to use the tools you make
Could code your way out of a job, sit back, sip coffee, and watch the metrics roll in while the servers scale seamlessly
You will
Work with designers and product owners, and qa to evolve requirements into working applications
Research, recommend, and implement solutions to challenging business requirements
Collaborate with the engineering team to standardize tools and processes
Develop and maintain solutions to meet slas for highly performant, highly available, and fault-tolerant distributed systems
Lead efforts to foster a culture of cloud-enabled automation to eliminate repetitive manual tasks
Minimum qualifications
Demonstrated experience working with leading cloud platforms (aws, gcp, azure)
Professional experience in the administration of linux systems
Hands-on experience with ci/cd tools like github workflows, jenkins, or gitlab
Strong understanding of dns, cdn, ssl, and networking concepts
Ability to build and deploy containerized software on cloud
Hands-on experience with configuration management deployment automation, such as ansible, chef, terraform, kubernetes, etc.
Familiar with managing database instances
Familiar with testing and code quality tools
Preferred qualifications
Previous history of supporting machine learning workloads
Prior experience in software development in java, python, node, or related technologies
Experience with control systems applications (e.gIndustrial processes, manufacturing, commercial buildings, scada)
Devops/secops certifications
