Description
Come join saic’s tsa team – partnering with tsa to revolutionize tsa’s test and evaluation processes! successful applicant will design test kits, evaluate test kits, and manage test kits.
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipmentPlans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devicesProvides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performedCompiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirementsResponsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Works under general supervisionFollows established proceduresWork is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projectsFailure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Primarily internal company contactsInfrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
Qualifications
For this role, personnel must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree.
Master’s degree preferred.
Strong customer relations skills are a must.
Experience with tsa screening equipment is preferred.
Must be able to successfully pass a tsa background check
