Saic hyper automation domain is looking to hire a talented software developer who is interested in building the next generation software solutions in support of saic’s software innovation factory teamThe ideal candidate is a self-motivated fast learner with a passion for creating great software and desire to work in a collaborative team environmentHe or she will have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, experience working across different technologies, the ability to think critically about problem solving, and the desire, initiative, and drive to expand their professional expertiseThis position allows some telework options to people that are local to the northern virginia area only.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop stable software that includes automated test validation
Work effectively with other software engineers, project managers, subject matter experts, and clients.
Peer review the work of other development team members
Be a productive member of a fast-paced agile team
Qualifications
Requirements:
B.s(or higher) in computer science or a related engineering fieldIn lieu of a degree, additional years of relevant experience is acceptable.
5 or more years of relevant experience
U.sCitizen able to obtainmaintain a secret clearance is required
Desired technical expertise:
Dependency injection frameworks (e.gSpring, java ee)
Object oriented design – apply design patterns to common problems
Object-relational mapping frameworks (e.gHibernate)
Containers (e.gDocker)
Low-code for rpa and/or bpmn (e.g uipath, pega)
Html5, css, and javascript frameworks (egReact, angular) – should be comfortable with javascript coding
Automated testing (e.gJunit, testng, jest, mocha)
Automated ui testing (e.gSelenium)
Web services (e.gRest)
Cloud computing services (e.gAws, azure)
