Description
Saic is seeking a quality assurance (qa) test engineer to support an army national guard contractThis is a challenging hands-on technical opportunity for a test engineer to join a high performing team of professionals developing and testing our software solutionsYour background should include working closely with other members of a technical development team, implementing automated and various other software testing methods, as well as intermediate programming experience / expertise in c#, .net framework, asp.net mvc.
This is a remote position from the dc metro areaTravel to the fairfax, va office will be required from time to time.
Your role within our software development teams includes testing as well as monitoring contract operations and adherence to defined quality assurance processes using the cmmi model frameworkYou will support the execution of the project plan in conjunction with the program manager (pm) as you conduct and improve verification activities including manual and automated testing; release management; audits and reviews; and validation activitiesYou will coordinate efforts across functional, technical, and data teamsYou must be detail oriented and have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (sdlc).
Qualifications
Education and experience:
Bachelors degree in a techincal field is required
5+ years of qa/test engineer experience required
Intermediate programming experience / expertise in .net framework, asp.net mvc
C# a plus
Certification requirement:
Comptia security+ ce is a plus
Clearance required:
Candidates must be us citizens who are clearable for a dod secret clearance, due to military contract requirements
Can start work with an interim secret clearance
