Description
Saic is looking for a radio frequency (rf) systems engineer to perform activities related to ew prototyping.this position will be located in the indianapolis, in area and require teleworking.
Engineering support will include: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system opPerformance analysis and decision analysisEnsures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions including enhancements adn lifecycle updates that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraintsPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specificationsProvides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
The candidate will apply advanced technical principles, theories, and conceptsContributes to development of new principles and conceptsParticipates with government custeomr dn engineering staff to establish strategic plans and objectivesMakes observations and recommends for administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectivesWill work on unusually complex technical rf problems and provide solutions for the product team to considerWe are looking for concepts that are highly innovative and ingenious.
Position will require 25% travel.
Qualifications
Education and experience:
Bachelor`s degree in electrical engineering and fourteen (14) years of experience; masters in electrical and computer engineering and and twelve (12) years of experience.
Required skills:
Requires digital and analog electronic warfare (ew)/radio frequency (rf) experience.
14+ years of navy ew/rf experience.
Dawia & defense acquisition experience and certifications.
Matlab/labview experience.
Required clearance:
Must have an active secret security clearance.
Desired skills:
Master`s degree.
