Don t miss the opportunity to join a growing, full-service building automation controls providerThis innovative solutions provider delivers products and services that create efficient operations and energy reduction initiatives for work environments that are sustainable, resilient and supportive of hundreds of clientsThey are seeking an energetic team member who strives to succeed and make a difference in a hands-on, customer focused environmentThis building automation technician will be experienced in the installation and programming of bas/ddc controlsExperience with niagara products and certification in ax and/or n4 desiredThis position is remote so you will work from home or the customer siteClients are primarily in the northern, va/dc area.
Duties will include interpreting drawing packages for current and new projects, program modifications and assisting with the commissioning of systemsAdditional responsibilities may include supporting engineers in researching part numbers and manufacturers, and assisting the sales team with technical issues.
Compensation: competitive compensation package includes base salary the $100,000 range.
Basic qualifications:
Five or more years of experience in bas project installation and programming of building automation systems.
Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude to understand the machinery with which our control systems interface.
The ability to work independently, as well as on a project team.
The ability to work on strict deadlines without constant supervision.
The ability to travel to job sites from northern, va to baltimore as needed.
