We are seeking an experienced recruiter to drive recruitment for assigned roles that require strong technical skills and aptitude that are critical to the manufacturing operationThis role and drives technical recruitment of packaging technicians, maintenance systems technicians, and other assigned roles with a focus on sourcing and identifying skilled talent, and maintaining adequate technical pipelines to support business goals.
Essential duties:
Responsible for full recruiting life cycle of critical technical roles to support multi-shift manufacturing operations including but not limited to: sourcing, screening, interviewing, pre-employment screening and offers of employmentPartners with human resources to facilitate a seamless onboarding process.
Hold intake meetings with hiring manager to learn and thoroughly understand the responsibilities and qualifications needed to accurately source, evaluate and select skilled talent.
Screen applications for employment, comparing qualifications and salary requests to posted requirements.
Maintain hris applicant tracking to ensure accurate and up to date information for compliance with state and federal employment law.
Conduct pre-screening phone and video callsIdentify qualified candidates who can successfully align with production technical requirements and core valuesProvide summaries to hiring managers and recommend next steps.
Schedule and facilitate the interview process, partnering with hiring managers to ensure timely update to candidates.
Develop and present competitive offers of employment to selected candidates highlighting compensation and benefits, growth opportunities and other information as relevantEnsure candidate understands employment terms to include schedule, environment and expectations.
Conduct full onboarding flow up to hand off to human resources for on-boarding and new hire orientationFollow up to ensure arrangements for candidate`s first day are clear and address any questions.
Utilize creative sourcing methods such as networking, referrals, linkedin, college and vocational schools, etcTo identify and engage talented candidates.
Promote and support community relationships and company image by promoting sk food group at events such as job fairs, educational institution career fairs and other community events.
Assist with duties including employee communications, payroll, responding to questions on human resources policies and procedures, safety program management, attendance policy management, ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
As a first point of contact for the company, promote sk food group and it’s offerings in a positive and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (b.a.) from a four-year college or university, and at least five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience in a technical role and/or related recruiting experience is requiredExperience in manufacturing environment is highly desired.
Strong working knowledge of basic principles and practices of human resources.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to think outside the box and recommend solutions and strategies.
Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential matters.
Must be team oriented and possess a customer service focus.
Competent with ms office suite (word, excel, outlook) and able to gain proficiency in hris/ats programsAdp/hris experience is preferred.
Some travel is required.
