Pr manager
Soci is looking for a pr manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring the success of a public relations program that builds momentum for a growing company and promotes the strong positioning of the soci brandAs a key member of the communications and branding team, the pr communications manager will scale communications with a unified voice to relevant media outlets in order to increase soci’s public, industry, and executive profiles by developing and effectively executing on strategies that align with brand and corporate objectivesThis role works closely with key stakeholders across the company to execute and prove the success of pr strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Public relations
Manage soci’s public relations efforts, including writing and editing press releases, byline articles, pitches, award submissions, and related content.
Manage third-party pr agency and other external partnerships to fully leverage media relationships and expertise.
Contribute pr and social content to soci’s editorial calendar.
Monitor press coverage and publishing coverage reports to share internally to drive awareness of our pr program`s success.
Create and execute executive profile building strategies for key execs., including ceo, cmo, and cto.
Identify key sov metrics for different industry and competitor terms, and grow soci’s sov through the regular placement of organic content.
Own and update the press release and in the news sections of the website.
Create proactive newsjacking engagements with key publications to help position soci as an industry leader.
Manage our media coverage tool, and provide monthly reporting to key stakeholders on the progress and success of the pr program.
Coordinate media interest in soci, conduct proactive, regular contact with target media, and ensure prompt response to media requests.
Leverage existing campaigns and content assets to create a steady drumbeat of soci news.
Develop key relationships with both industry and vertical publications to leverage existing soci content as byline opportunities to increase organic placements.
Build out an influencer relations program for sociIdentify key influencers, develop relationship building and eventually co-marketing plans, and find ways of measuring that make the most sense for overall business goals.
Act as soci’s representative with the media.
Analyst relations
Support the efforts of a tiered analyst relations program to ensure proactive and results-oriented communication with all analysts who cover soci’s products and servicesThis includes facilitating the ar program, which will be driven by product marketing, which aims to deepen our relationship with key analysts from top firms through high-touch activities as well as paid engagements targeted at 1st and 2nd tier analysts.
Role requirements include:
Bachelor`s degree, or equivalent experience, in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or comparable field
2+ years` experience in public relations
Clear, strong, detailed writer a mustPlus the ability to write in different formats - e.gA social media post to a byline, experience writing in different voices, and creating content under tight deadlines.
Proven experience building communication strategies as well as the ability to improve processes and organizational structure.
Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced environment.
Relationship builder; dynamic, proactive, respected; good listener; values input and stimulates candid dialogue; positive demeanor and a sense of humor.
A reputation as an organized self-starterThe right person will also be adept at working in a team environment to define new processes and policies.
A strong technical mind with the ability to quickly extract, synthesize, and relay key information from multiple sources without becoming overwhelmed.
Excellent understanding of modern pr, ar, and social media strategies along with demonstrated success in implementing these techniques.
