Ssm health in stLouis is searching for a senior financial analyst to join our strategic pricing teamThis position will be hybrid - working both in our corporate office and remotely.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and maintain a defensible pricing strategy, meeting all regulatory requirements, for facility and ambulatory services.
Work with price transparency for the system
Perform and implement annual strategic pricing reviews for all ssm health patient services annually.
Collaborate with managed care finance and managed care contracting to optimize contracted revenue.
Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.
Primary responsibilities
Performs complex financial analysis and reporting at a senior level.
Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sourcesPrepares reports based on findings, including health care costs, provider contracts, debt capacity, revenue and profitability.
Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processesAssists with budget review for compliance and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Serves as consultant to senior management and executive leadership to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor`s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
