The virtual / industrial engineer will join a growing team of engineering professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health.
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Experience in manufacturing, production processes and protocols, knowledge of industrial engineering principles (time standards, optimization, etc.)
Experience with process allocation and planning tools (gspas and apt preferred)
Experience with industrial engineering principles (time standards, optimization, etc.), and siemens plm products such as teamcenter, process simulate, and/or plant simulate
Ability to establish priorities, work both independently and in team settings, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (remotely or on-site)
A professional manner with excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
Develop/audit processes, operator work assignment and labor standards
Design/evaluate work stations and facility layouts
Planning/reviewing in-plant material handling and lean manufacturing processes
Requirements
B.sOr m.sIn manufacturing, industrial, systems engineering or equivalent
2-5 years experience with the product assembly processing in manufacturing
Must have safe and reliable transportation
