What your job will be like
We are seeking a software developer to support mission critical applications for product lifecycle managementThe individual will join a dynamic agile development team to deliver custom aras innovator solutionsIndividual must be well rounded, having experience with databases, and modern web development methods and toolsWe are looking for a self-motivated, driven, excited, and well-versed individual to join our team.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Develop software
Develop tests
Work collaboratively with architects, developers, technical leads, customers, and end users to collect requirements, develop vision, design solutions, and deliver high quality and easy-to-use software applications.
Challenge status quo in process and quality methodologies in software engineering and demonstrate initiative to drive improvements in these areas.
Qualifications we require
Bachelor`s degree in information systems, computer science, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience and education
Experience in software engineering
Ability to acquire and maintain a required doe q security clearance
Qualifications we desire
Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or information systems, or a relevant field
Experience using iterative or agile methods across the full software development process
Experience working with aras innovator
Experience with .net mvc, .net core mvc, javascript, and c#
Experience working with sql
Experience developing sql server reporting services (ssrs)
Rest api development experience
Experience with test driven development/unit testing
Experience designing and executing test plans
Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
Understanding of itil and it service management standard methodologies

Position information
This limited term employee (lte) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at sandia`s discretion up to a maximum of seven years.
Individuals in lte positions may bid on regular sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
