Responsibilities
Architect and build front end applications and features for various swds products and features
Identify and resolve usability issues
Collaborate closely with backend engineers on delivering an optimally secure and performant user experience
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted on your code
Share project updates and insights
Participate in routine meetings and rituals including but not limited to standups, ipms, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, stakeholder meetings, and product demonstrations
Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members

Minimum qualifications
5+ years of javascript experience, including concepts like es6, polymorphism, closures, synchronicity and asynchronous programming, and promises
Strong html and css experience, including concepts like the dom, layout, semantic and non-semantic elements, the html5 api, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and cors
Demonstrated experience working with many cross-functional partners
Experience identifying, debugging, and fixing performance issues and bottlenecks
Preferred qualifications
Strong coding experience with one of the following: react/native, vue.js, angularjs
Strong familiarity with a major design framework such as bootstrap or material design
Proven track record building single page applications from scratch
Strong design aesthetic and a keen eye for workflow optimization
Bs/ms in computer science or a related technical field preferred
