Role:
Full-stack developer
Schedule:
Days: monday through friday
Hours per week: 40
Flexible hours: within business hours, off-hours releases

Extension/conversion:
This position is a contract with the right to hire if a need becomes availableManager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full-time employee.
We will not sponsor work visas if the decision is made to hire a contingent worker.
Business need for this role:
In anticipation of an employee that will be retiring end of october, so that there is time for knowledge transfer.

Top must-have skills / candidate requirements:
Experience in developing micro-services, restful apis, and cloud-based architectures
Ui/ux development experience with angular
Micro-services development experience with java/springboot
Secondary
Experience with jenkins pipeline
Experience with kubernetes or red hat openshift, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
Experience troubleshooting on production and lower environments
Experience with hadoop, apache spark, sqoop
Kafka would be a plus
Database experience (oracle (pl/sql), teradata, ms sql server, etc), performance tuning
Unix/linux, shell/scripting technologies
Tableau, obiee, bi publisher/bi tools would be a plus, or willing to learn
Informatica etl
Functional knowledge of mainframe, cobol, vsam, db2 would be a plus
Degrees/certifications/years of overall experience required:
8 + years
