Full job description
Shipley energy is looking for a propane delivery dispatcher to join our logistics divisionIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made on time, scheduling, and meeting the needs of customers in a timely mannerThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and has strong attention to detailPrevious dispatching experience is a plus!
This position is monday to friday with remote, hybrid, and on-site workstyle opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Follow established routing processes to ensure that timely deliveries are being made
Manage required customer interactions in a timely manner
Maintain k-factors, baseloads, monitors and schedules in order to optimize delivery
Document and communicate all service related issues
Develop caring relationships with our customers
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
Communicate with drivers, customers and other departments to resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner
Maintain all logistics inboxes/databases and respond in a timely manner
Requirements:
Proficient in computer technology including outlook, excel, powerpoint, and word
Proven skills in organizing resources and maintaining records
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
