Home health and hospice powerhouses simione healthcare consultants and blacktree healthcare consulting have joined forces and we are now known as simitree healthcare consulting and, due to tremendous growth, we are looking for a director to join our mergers & acquisitions clinical due diligence and compliance teamThis is a full-time, remote / virtual / work-from-home position that can be based anywhere in the us!
Position responsibilities:
Expertise in cpt and icd-10 coding for physician practices, palliative care and outpatient therapy
Knowledgeable of ahima’s standards of ethical coding, and all applicable regulations and guidelines
Ability to review encounter notes and billing to identify inaccurate coding, financial risk related to upcoding and missed opportunities
Experience in successful physician office management is desired.
Project management.
Qualifications:
Rhia, rhit, ccs, or ccs-p active and in good standing with ahima or cpc active and in good standing with aapc
3- years of outpatient and/or physician-based coding experience
Experience in multiple physician practices
Auditing experience
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
