The simulation sciences team is looking for a scientist ii, senior scientist i, or senior scientist ii (dependent on experience and qualifications.)
Responsibilities:
Drive the development and testing of software products such as gastroplus®, membraneplus™, and dddplus™
Perform pbbm/pbpk modeling and simulation to address objectives with client projects, including, but not limited to, fih predictions, formulation design/optimization, population simulations, special populations, disease state modeling, and ddi predictions
Write study proposals, modeling reports, white papers, and/or journal publications to clearly describe model development and verification
Discuss software applications with clients and prospects on the telephone or in-person
Attend and/or present at scientific conferences
Perform other related duties as assigned
This position reports to either the director – simulation technologies or the executive director – simulation studies.
Education:
M.sOr ph.d(or equivalent) in pharmaceutical science, biostatistics, biomedical engineering, or related fields
Qualifications:
Knowledge of pbbm pbpk modeling applications in preclinical development and/or clinical pharmacology
Prior experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry or postdoctoral research related to pbpk modeling preferred
Experience in using gastroplus, and simulations plus software products such as admet predictor, membraneplus and dddplus, or other commercial pbpk packages is desired
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate and communicate a positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and clients at all levels
Build and maintain strategic partnerships across industry
Must be able to multitask and have strong organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Some travel required (<10%)

Lancaster, ca, though remote options will definitely be considered
