Working out of our midwest division remotely, our facility technician will serve as the technical resource to our facility analysts, development engineers and architectsThrough primarily on-site facility survey activities, the role will provide valuable data to our development team to improve our efficiency and the accuracy of the product we provide to our customers.
Facility technician responsibilities
Conduct surveys of customer facilities to gather 360-degree photographs of the building systems and infrastructureThis includes; hvac systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, life safety and security systems, interior finishes, building envelope systems, grounds and site, etc.
Perform on-site information gathering, testing and technical measurements such as indoor air quality testing, light level and acoustical measurements.
Responsible for uploading data gathered after customer site visits and populating our template tools that will be utilized by the entire development team.
Meet regularly with the project development team to review development progress and schedules to insure delivery of customer reports.
Facility technician qualifications
High school diploma/ged requiredTrade school or associates degree preferred.
General computer skills and the technical aptitude required to operate specialized data collection tools and meters
Technical aptitude preferred to operate specialized tools and instruments
Committed team player willing to plug in where needed
