Position overview:
It business analyst provide business and technical analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to optimize inhouse developed software applications
Essential job functions:
Design and develop solutions based on requirements for both new and existing technologies/products
Prepare and write specifications including solution details, test plans and release notes
Prepare and write business use cases and test cases
Create, maintain, and enforce solutions design standards, specification templates/documents and solution formation processes
Review and ensure adherence of new solutions to organization standards
Provide consultative services to stakeholders including leading brainstorming sessions, performing gap analysis, and gathering requirements for process improvement and product enhancement
Present reports of findings and recommendations to all stakeholders
Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to stakeholders needs, capabilities and limitations
Assist in implementation of recommendations, working with formed project/product teams and managers
Be accountable to recommendations and solutions proposed through realization of benefit by the stakeholder
Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ requirements:
Minimum of an associates’ degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Has a general understanding of the mortgage industry including secondary market and post-closing activities including trading and servicing
Has experience using jira/azure devops and microsoft office suite
Has knowledge of microsoft sql server
Synthesizes complex or diverse information into agile development user stories; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops creative or alternative solutions; demonstrates attention to detail; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics

The pay range for this role is $60,000 to $120.000 annually.
Discretionary bonus: you may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus which may be paid annually or more frequently as determined by samc senior managementIn general, samc considers the performance of the firm, the employee’s performance, his or her department’s performance, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, and external market factors in awarding bonusesDiscretionary bonuses are subject to the final approval of samc’s managementEmployees must be actively employed by samc at the time the bonus is paid in order to be eligible for a bonusWhether or not an employee receives a bonus and, if so, the amount of the bonus is at the sole discretion of samc management..

Actual compensation offered is subject to several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, licensure, certification, and market demands.
