Position overview:
As a key point of control for system enhancements and quality initiatives, this position is responsible for managing the quality assurance staff and processes, as well as assisting with testing prior to releases, developing solutions and creating specifications for adjustments to situsamc’s systemsThis role works directly with employees of situsamc’s technology department and other stakeholders to ensure software quality through establishing and maintaining qa processes and procedures.
Essential job functions:
Establish and maintain qa processes and procedures
Manage, lead, mentor, train, and guide qa analysts to success
Assign tasks to qa analysts
Promote and support department goals and objectives
Track, organize, and prioritize assigned projects
Complete projects within required timeframe, proactively communicating any delays to manager
Test release items to ensure accuracy and that they meet original business requirement
Complete testing to meet established release dates
Communicate deficiencies to situsamc’s technology department prior to release
Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing and implementation for situsamc’s systems
Participate in and managing the needs of all applicable systems and platforms
Participate, own, or facilitate any other quality initiatives as assigned by manager
Participate in department planning, prioritization, and allocation of resources
Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur
Create training materials and deliver presentations to stakeholders
Communicate test progress, results, & issues/roadblocks to project stakeholders/management
Stay current with qa processes and recommend improvements and/or enhancements of new testing techniques and testing tools
Create and maintain qa process flows and procedures
Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/requirements:
College degree / training in finance / mortgage banking desired or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in mortgage / secondary market preferred
Demonstrated success as a qa manager or lead preferred
Proficient in compliance, credit and servicing underwriting review
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to provide actionable constructive feedback objectively and with diplomacy
Excellent pc skills and possess high level of proficiency in microsoft products
Should have hands on experience with ui automation tools like test complete
Should have knowledge of creating test plans, test strategies.
Should have knowledge of agile project management tools like azure devops, jira.
Hands on experience with sql, api testing.
Good understanding of the entire sdlc cycle is a must should be sound in integration testing, regression testing.
Should have good knowledge of defect life cycle.

Demonstrate excellent organizational and people skills
