Description
As a senior product designer at smartrent, you will own the user experience of a given productJob responsibilities include, creating interface designs and user flows for new and upcoming features, working with product managers and engineers to bring these interface designs to production, and iterating on existing designs by utilizing various research methods to guide your designsYou will be expected to conduct regular qualitative and quantitative analysis of this product, as well as work with product and engineering on implementing tracking for new featuresThe ideal candidate is knowledgeable in common ui patterns for mobile and web design, and is able to think in terms of these patterns to create engaging interfaces and workflowsWe are looking for a candidate with a strong ux process that showcases an understanding of design thinkingStrong visual design skills are a plus, along with experience with html and css.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the product manager on translating product requirements into user flows and interface designs.
Work closely with engineering in an agile environment to bring designs from concept to production.
Regularly attend meetings, scrums and workshops to build new features, iterate on existing features, or discuss upcoming potential features.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify user pain points, and work with product and engineering to solve them.
Requirements
Must-have:
5+ years of experience in product design or similar role
Figma or sketch, adobe xd
Prototyping
User flows and/or flow charts
Design thinking and ux process
Visual design
Knowledgeable in:
Design workshops
In person or remote user testing
Usability data and how to use it.
Accessibility standards
Other ui pattern libraries
Other design systems and how to work with them
Awesome to have:
Experience designing native mobile apps (ios, android)
Coding with html and css
Experience with animation techniques
Lean ux
