Full job description

Under general supervision, the operator i performs a variety of skilled tasks involved involving the general maintenance and operations processes; basic understanding of equipment and performs related work as required.
Essential duties and responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· embraces the 1 t.e.a.mCulture

· wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with safety policy and osha standards.

· maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.

· responsible for the review of work orders

· verification and recording of product identification

· ensuring material is loaded onto lines and fed into production equipment in accordance with all safety policies and quality procedures.

· responsible for building overarm to ensure material tracking

· performing in process visual inspection

· perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
· ability to use computers, read tape measures, micrometers and calipers

· dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs

· able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

· ability to work outside normal business hours/days as needed

· able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company

· able to read and comprehend simple work instructions, work orders, short correspondence and memos written in english

· able to write simple correspondence in english
Education requirements
· high school diploma or equivalent, required

· industry knowledge and experience, a plus
