Roles and responsibilities
The software qa tester role is responsible for assuring the delivered features and applications will work as requiredSoftware testers are quality assurance professionals who make sure software is doing what it is designed to do consistently.
Specific duties
Understanding of agile methodologies & processes
Provide salesforce platform requirements and configuration supporting systems migration
Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking.
Lead user acceptance testing sessions.
Verify system usability through comprehensive interface, workflow, and use-case test execution.
Identify and track defects when test failures occur, narrowing the root cause to enable efficient investigation.
Work with technical teams and business partners to define/refine business rules and processes.
Drives collaboration between qa and business/development teams to maximize timely delivery of solutions
Assist in developing the performance testing strategy and performance testing plans
Develop efficient and accurate automated performance test scripts
Execute functional/performance tests using industry standard tools such as selenium, qtp, loadrunner or similar tools analyze results and provide recommendations for improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of related experience in manual & automated testing
Hands on experience with selenium, loadrunner, qtp and similar tools
A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects
Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
The ability to manage and prioritize own workload effectively
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience

Preferred experience
Functional and performance testing of low code platforms such as salesforce.com
Knowledge of scrum approach/methodologies highly desired
