The talent manager will partner with the head of human resources and support an incredible team of recruiters in managing open job requisitions and overseeing the day-to-day functions of recruitment, pre-employment, and new hire onboarding programs across the us and canadaThis role leads and empowers the recruitment team to ensure the acquisition of organizational talent in alignment with spring’s mission and values.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Drives talent acquisition initiatives by implementing a variety of strategies to source and attract talent across multiple regions in the us and canada
Actively engages in and oversees full cycle recruitment activities in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers
Directly responsible for management and integrity of spring’s applicant tracking system (ats) and related job boards
Ensures the successful development and fostering of community partnerships, in collaboration with our local recruiters, to build talent pipelines and promote being an employer of choice
Offers guidance and support to managers with workforce planning including the creation and maintenance of job descriptions and succession planning
Delivers and continuously develops engaging and effective on-boarding and orientation materials for all new hires to set them up for success
Collaborates with operational leaders to identify talent gaps, provide resources, and facilitate excellent hiring and retention practices
Supports leadership in creating a world class experience for high profile interviews and subsequent onboarding
Proactively researches and prepares staffing and talent acquisition plans for new clinic locations
Assists with exit interviews to identify hiring-related trends and make recommendations for retaining talent and improving the employee experience
Responsible for collection, evaluation, and reporting of analytics in relation to spring’s talent programs and external market trends
Provide support to hr team in areas of employee programs and special projects relating to talent acquisition and retention
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as company policy, as applicable to the areas above
Provides leadership and support to direct reports to further spring’s talent and culture initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of hr experience, with 2 years of experience in managing full-cycle recruitment activities, and at least 1 year of experience managing direct reports
Experience with talent reporting and analytics
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
Computer proficiency: microsoft office 365, hris and ats systems such as workable or lever
Experience in a healthcare and/or start-up environment desirable
