Commissioning is a natural extension of a design firm ? in fact we?ve been commissioning since before we used the term ?commissioning? In the 1990s we?d wrap up our controls replacement projects with ?controls demonstrations?, where we (the designers) would run every system through its paces with the contractor and make sure it all worked the way it was intendedToday, we have several design engineers with cxa certifications who do all of our commissioningThe problem is our design engineers are getting overloaded with commissioning work and we now need an employee dedicated to leading all things commissioningAre you the answer?
Our lead commissioning engineer needs to be a leader, but also a boots-on-the-ground doerWe?re looking for someone who can not only manage each project and build our commissioning services portfolio, but who can also write and execute test plansDon?t fear being an army of one though, our existing cxas will still be there to help guide you, support you, and jump in alongside you if you get more work than you can handle yourself.
