Job description
Entry level position helping to keep a wide variety of it systems running and helping end users, network administrators, presidents of companies, and owners work through it problemsProvide “first contact” with a range of customers, and also assist with higher level projects such as installations, upgrades and migrationsServer experience is desired but not requiredWe can help grow your skills in a supportive environment that neither `throws you to the wolves` nor has you just escalate an issue on while gaining exposure to a wide range of varied environmentsIf you have excellent customer service skills plus the drive and ability to grow your skills with servers, network infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud services and gain certifications with microsoft, cisco, vmware, and others, we`d love to talk to you.
Responsibilities
Answer calls and emails from customers seeking help.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Resolve technical problems with local area networks (lan), wide area networks (wan), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Contact service providers and third-party vendors to resolve problems.
Document all time and steps taken to resolve issues.
Go onsite to resolve issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
Assist with server installations, migrations, and other higher-level projects.
Requirements
Proficiency in english
Working knowledge of it systems and troubleshooting processes
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Customer service orientation
Own transportation and good driving record
