Members of our qa team will be working in a collaborative group environmentThis role will involve working through various unique tasks on a daily basis, and team members will often be expected to switch focus among a variety of testing areas as neededQa team members will often need to interact with product developers to verify any behaviours seen as potential issues/bugsWhen new issues are found, team members are expected to create a detailed ticket for the issue, providing replication steps and any necessary preconditions.
Qualifications:
Some desirable core skills are as follows:
Experience in testing a web-ui.
Linux experience, including the ability to monitor and analyse various log files on a linux system.
Ability to follow and create detailed testcasesThis includes areas such as summary, preconditions, steps, and expected results.
Vmware, hyper-v, aws experience.
Experience in network-related product testingFamiliarity with packet structure, flow data, etc.
Ability to write up bugs with detailed steps to reproduce the issue.
Experience with gitlab or other bug-tracking systems such as jira.
Experience working with a testcase management system of some kindQ-test, test link, etc.
Psql or other database experience.
Any skills in test automation would be a ‘plus’ (postman, selenium, etc).
Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
