Job description:
This team member would be responsible for putting together submittal packages, shop drawings, mark ups and as-builts with the supervision of the engineers that meet industry standardsResponsibilities would also include equipment and cabling take offs for the estimating team and maintaining cad libraries.
Qualifications:
- high school diploma and 2 years of cad experience or an associates degree in computer aided drafting(architectural)
- basic knowledge of microsoft office programsWord, excel & outlook.
- strong organizational skills.
- a “can do attitude`
- solid working knowledge of revit and autocad required
- minimum of 2 years` experience using revit and autocad software to produce details/drawing as well as elements and families
Duties:
- reviewing bim modelling formats / protocols and coordination as well as reviewing analysis and findings such as clash detection and resolving clashes
- provide advice / guidance to the project team, quality control (verifying model content during each phase) and checking proceduresProviding technical support to the project team regarding modelling enquiries
- produce design development and construction document sets based on mark-ups and red-lines received from project managers
Preferred:
- experience working to document low voltage systems.
- experience working with bluebeam.
- experience in low voltage industry
