Acadia has been deployed to enterprise customers in the manufacturing, banking, and transportation and logistics verticals and is rapidly expanding in these and other industriesCurrent acadia customers include tens of thousands of individuals across multiple global locations and languages.
You will assist in the design, development, and overall user experience of our acadia web application, working with an experienced team of software and consulting industry professionals as we grow a significant user base across the us and beyond.
Essential roles and responsibilities
Collaborate with our ui/ux team to create simple, cohesive experiences
Convert user flows, wireframes, and prototypes into quality web-based product features and user experiences
Solve complex engineering problems following performance, security, maintainability, scalability, and accessibility best practices
Contribute to and assist in maintaining a library of reusable components, unit tests, and features that support enterprise-scale products
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and technologies to incorporate into the software development life cycle
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities
Ability to apply strategic and systems thinking skills to maintain a consistent and inclusive brand, experience, and direction
Ability to identify the root of complex problems and to provide and test solutions
Experience with agile/iterative approach to software product management
Strong working knowledge of html, css, javascript, typescript, node, and javascript libraries like react and redux
Ability to work with source control tools like git or gitlab
Experience writing, running, and maintaining unit tests with testing frameworks like jest or enzyme
Ability to navigate and troubleshoot issues in an enterprise-scale product
Ability to collaborate within a team and give and receive constructive feedback from internal team members and external customers
