You are responsible for designing/coding creative and scalable systems and software solutions that address business and technical needs in a constantly evolving marketYou will define and maintain architecture and technology standards for mobile appsIn addition, you will give guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance, evaluate and recommend technologies and techniques for applicability to t-mobile systems.
You will obsess over the customer experience of the features you build and tackle problems across the full technology stack from backend skills, massive data bases, and complex mobile operating systemsYou hold an extraordinarily high bar for engineering excellence and work collaboratively to find simple and inventive solutions to complex problemsYou are constantly experimenting and looking to move quickly and take calculated risks and you will work to make our mobile apps more useful to our customersYou have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

7+ years of overall mobile app experience
Proficient in kotlin, java, rx android, dagger, koin, firebase, android jetpack libraries, ui testing frameworks.
Demonstrates experience in tools such as jenkins, git or similar open-source tools
Experience with restful apis to connect android applications to back-end services
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Proven work experience with large and complex code bases, mvvm design patterns, and architectures.
Responsible for production implementation and support activitiesGood interpersonal skillsTeam oriented and can work independently.
Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter, who can work with less documentationProficient in working with agile/scrum teams.
Experience and knowledge of application/data security and best practices
Proven experience in api design, sdk architecture, and mobile sdlc practices.
Experience implementing and working in continuous integration and continuous deployment

Lead technical design, development and testing of complex mobile applications and devices
Support proper functioning and performance tuning of applications
Collaborate with internal and external teams to define, design, and ship new features for the t‑mobile flagship app ios and android mobile applications
Work in cross functional team environment utilizing an agile development methodology
Responsible for performance, quality, usability, and responsiveness of the system
Review and update code to ensure quality, organization, and automation
Act as a mentor and teaches others new and existing technologies
Perform design and peer code reviews for immediate and related teams
Coordinate with architecture group on new designs and infrastructure application changes
Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications
Perform root cause analysis for customer impacting issues and document the findings
Provide on-call and after hours support as required for production/maintenance releases and provide tier 3 support on production outages
Looking outwards and bring industry best practices to mobile applications
