Tüv süd america inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has an immediate opening for a business development manager - orthopedics and cardiovascular based in a remote position in the united states.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Represent tüv süd to the industry through coordination of expert resources, representation at relevant industry events, and efficient delivery of a complete portfolio of tüv süd services
Internal advocate for the defined business segment(s) to ensure management and experts are aware of the specific needs and nuances of the industry
Protection of existing revenue in the defined business segment(s)
Growth of revenue with existing customers by positioning and delivering new/additional services
Growth of revenue in the defined business segment(s) by the acquisition of new accounts
Coordinate global and regional resources according to client’s requirements
This job may be for you if:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field (engineering/electrical) required
At least 10 years sales/business development experience, of which a minimum of 5 years in the tic industry
Excellent knowledge of the medical device industry
A demonstrated ability to grow a business segment by strategic positioning of services through targeted sales, marketing, and customer service programs
Sound knowledge working with customer relationship management software, e.gSalesforce, crm, etc.
Demonstrated ability in managing phone, email, and website inquiries.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service oriented
Computer literate in microsoft, word, powerpoint, excel, etc.
