Job description:
Lead offsite and offshore engineers in efforts to complete electrical installation design /detailing/analysis and supplier collaboration activities for the product groups in riop.
Typical day:
Lead offsite and offshore engineers in efforts to complete electrical installation design /detailing/analysis and supplier collaboration activities for the product groups in riop
Concept/design/detail/release electrical installation designs including harnesses, cables and large wiring groups
Perform electrical load calculations/analysis and initiate discussions with system partners
Communicate results to internal and external customers, suppliers team members
Perform product maintenance
Education requirement:
Bachelor degree in an accredited engineering curriculum, preferably in electrical/mechanical engineering
2+ years of job related work experience
Technical skills required:
Advanced experience in designing complex harnesses and cables utilizing creo (ptc) electrical design preferably using structure design procedure (sdp) 2+ years
Experience designing harnesses/cables installation preferably on mining vehicles or equivalent 2+ years
Experience in working/designing electrical schematics preferably creo schematic 2+ years
Advanced applied expertise in visview mockup professional 3+years
Advanced applied expertise in plm teamcenter 2+ years
Soft skills required:
Demonstrated technical leadership of teams up to 5 engineers completing complex/concurrent programs
Strong analytical skills
Strong emphasis on initiative and self starting
Strong demonstrated communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with offshore teams
