The tendo team is looking for a qa engineer with a passion for new technology to join a quickly growing team of qa professionalsThis role will help define and execute a qa framework in an agile team environment and requires a self-motivated professional with dynamic, hands-on functional qa testing experienceThe qa engineer is responsible for establishing, defining, and executing functional and automation testing for a patient-focused digital healthcare platform and applications with top qualityThis person will also ensure all tests are successfully completed and documented.

Job location this role is currently remoteTendo has hubs in san francisco, ca, salt lake city, ut and philadelphia, paIdeally we would prefer a candidate in one of these locations, but it`s not a requirement.
Responsibilities
Work with developers, product managers, and other qa engineers in an agile team environment
Understand and translate business use cases to test scenarios to ensure features meet product requirements
Create and execute test cases for manual and automated execution
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to determine usability of software
Participate in all aspects of testing, including but not limited to functional, regression, system, exploratory, integration, and performance
Create written communication of software defects in a clear and concise manner and verify issues are resolved
Requirements
2+ years of experience as a qa engineer for web-based applications
Experience with agile methodology
Experience with behavior driven development approach
Being creative, organized and consumer advocate
Experience with major web browser debug consoles such as firefox, ie and chrome
Understanding of qa methodologies, tools, and approaches (functional and automated testing)
High degree of attention to detail, with a passion for troubleshooting and problem solving
Enthusiastic and confident with the ability to work with various different stakeholders
Nice to have
B.sIn computer science, mathematics or similar field
Experience of testing web-based applications on mobile
Knowledge of automation frameworks for front-end web applications and api testing (rest or graphql preferred)
Basic html and css knowledge
Basic database query skills
