Full job description
Summary: provide design, project management, and construction documents incorporating code knowledge from conceptual design through construction administration.
Department: architecture
Reports to: architecture manager
Reporting to the lead designer: architectural drafter
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Demonstrated project management from project initiation through completion with client, internal project team, consultants and governing municipal jurisdictions.
Preparation of schematic, design development and construction documents utilizing a thorough knowledge of revit
Preparation of specifications.
Coordinate proposals, schedules and document preparations with consulting engineers.
Maintain invoices/payments with consulting engineers.
Maintain current understanding of usage of products
Accountability:
Determine holder of architectural licensure to be used in applicable states
Review and process submittals
Collaborate with project management team
Collaborate with draftspersons
Collaborate with clients
Collaborate with sales team
Qualifications - to perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of architecture
Proficiency in revit
Personal skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated success in working on multiple projects in various stages of design and construction.
Working knowledge of excel and other microsoft office programs.
Reacts well under pressure.
