About the job
The inside sales lead is responsible for global sales support and communications with government customers.
Terex government programs (tgp) is a branch office of terex corporation, located in fredericksburg, virginiaTgp operates under a segregated accounting and p&l structure as an independent teamIt is the focal point for u.sFederal government direct sales, contract management, and large fleet opportunity business development and marketingTgp provides direct proposal development, contract management, government market analysis, registration, facility security support, small business (sb) subcontracting plan, government terms and conditions review, project management, contract management, engineering support, and proposal development directly or in support of terex segments as negotiatedIn addition, tgp maintains terex corporation registrations for doing business with the u.sFederal government, and provides a single point for u.sFederal government customer coordination on equipment research, purchasing, systems engineering, contract management, delivery, and aftermarket support.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Identifying proper equipment.
Quoting equipment pricing and availability.
Quoting parts/service pricing and availability.
Quoting and facilitating the movement of freight as required.
Order entry and trade package fulfillment.
Proposal support as required.
Effectively resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
About you
Basic qualifications
2 years experience in military sales
Must be a us citizen and obtain a passport
Has or is willing to obtain covid19 vaccination
Per current government mandate, all federally approved contractors working on government project must be fully vaccinated even if working fully remotely (this does not apply to all terex positions)
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to sit in-person in richmond, virginia
Awp product experience
Government far and de-far experience is a plus.
Positive, professional, and diplomatic demeanor.
Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive, tactful manner.
Attention to detail, effective problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with microsoft office.
