Tesla is looking for a key technical member of the energy warehouse process control and efficiency team, with the mission to optimize the supply chain processes for the most innovative solar and roofing company in the worldYou will have cross-functional engagement with training, design engineering, warehouse process engineering, installation operations, warehouse operations, supply chain, and more to maximize impact to the business.
We are looking for an analytical data expert who has the technical skill set to solve complex problems, and the curiosity to get out in the real world to explore what problems need to be solvedIn this role, you will improve (and over time, re-architect) the way we gather and analyze data to optimize the warehouse universe.

Responsibilities
On-job training for local operations with both management and warehouse teams.
Introduce new products and processes in the warehouse organization.
Optimize warehouse organizational flow to identify bottlenecks and drive towards optimal output capacity.
Propose new standard operating procedures to be implemented into the organization.
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Act as a subject matter expert and technical resources for other departments and teams such as package engineering, installation, training, product management, and service.
Requirements
2-5 years relevant work experience in warehouse management or process engineering preferred.
Experience in the solar or energy industries is a strong plus.
Ability to instantly adapt to new systems and process
Manipulate data and draw insights.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on material flow and process development.
Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
Willingness to spend up to 80% of your time at warehouse locations.
Willingness to spend up to 50% of your time travelling away from home
Familiarity with solar, energy, roofing, construction or building materials
Must be at least 21 years of age
