Job duties
Creating and reviewing test plans for a range of applications.
Perform functional and non-functional manual testing
Understanding end user use case for applications and/or technology and sequencing test procedures logically and appropriately.
Responsible for all testing to include: user acceptance, regression, quality assurance, and end-to-end tests to ensure software usability.
Create strategies for testing software and will be responsible for ensuring that software meets all business, functional and system requirements, program standards and test plan requirements before identifying it as ready for implementation.
Use sql queries and tools to analyze data in relational databases, prepare data for testing and validate data integrity.
Work closely with business and technology team to determine testing requirements.
Participate in design and engineering review, giving feedback on testability and impact with existing features and systems.
Requirements
Must have a good understanding of qa processes, methodologies, and approaches with respect to the software development life cycle, including agile/scrum processes
The ability to thrive while performing high quality testing in a fast-paced, constantly changing atmosphere
Minimum (5) years of excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Minimum (5) years of excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
Minimum (3) years of experience writing test scripts
Minimum (3) years of expertise in executing user acceptance, regression, quality assurance, data conversion, and end-to-end testing of software.
Ability to identify and report issues in programming code that impact system functionality.
Ability to collaborate as a team member to coordinate testing, discuss test results and develop solutions to issues identified.
Must have a basic understanding of aws, apis, and microservices
Minimum (1) years of experience in testing of web services, including soap and restful services
Minimum (1) years of sql experience is required; experience with ms sql server is preferred
Experience in manual & automated testing of web applications.
Nice to have
Using automated test tools such as selenium
Mobile testing experience
Business analysis experience
