Full job description
Position- this role, while it’s main focus would be on the craft and completion our post production process, would also include a variety of other duties such as grip/camera assistant for shoots, and content producer for the nw collective marketing materials.
Video editor- expectations would be that you complete all editing, sound design, motion graphics, music and final outputs for all nwc projectsYou would also be in charge of data management and systems.
Content producer- in collaboration with the other team members, a nwc content plan would be developed and you would oversee the execution ofThis could include but is not limited to shooting/editing behind the scenes videos, company updates, social media content, and graphic design for marketing materials or sales pitches.
Grip/assistant- on all nwc shoots, it would be expected that you’re in charge of gear organization and management as well as being available for camera/battery/gear prep before shootsIt would also be expected you are available for the production days themselves to grip, camera assist, run sound, or whatever is needed.
This position would be considered a local hire, with the option to work remotely outside of required team meetings and shoot daysThe amount of shoots we have varies greatly, there could be two months with no shootsOr we could have several every week in a busy season.
Compensation: the company will pay you a starting base pay of $20/hour, which will be $1600 (before taxes and withholdings) on the 1st and 15th of each monthThis includes 40 hours of pto in your first yearYear two would result in 80 hours ptoIf more unpaid time off is desired, that will be allowed and can be mutually agreed upon as the need arises.
Hours: this is a full time position requiring approximately 40 hours per weekSome weeks may require more, some lessExtended travel time is expected on some occasions and overnight stays will not be compensated more than a normal weeks salary, but time off will be allowed to balance out a heavy work week.
