Position summary:
Tidal basin, the leading experts in preparedness and disaster recovery, has an opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable, and skilled recruiter to join our resource management team! the ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable professional with sourcing experience to assist us in recruitment for our cadre and corporate rolesExperience with fema pa tac preferred.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
Essential job functions:
The candidate will perform the following essential functions:
Perform full-cycle recruitment duties including but not limited to: posting job descriptions, sourcing and interviewing candidates, conducting thorough intake calls with hiring managers, updating candidates on their application status, and providing updates to management regularly on requisition status.
Negotiate offers with potential employees
Perform advanced boolean search techniques for various level roles.
Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for both current and potential roles that fit the needs of the organization.
Adhere to all hiring business processes and maintain detailed notes in the system for future reference.
Education and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
Skills and competencies:
Preferred experience with fema pa tac
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to staff multiple projects concurrently
Must have boolean search experience
Ability to work remotely and independently
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to “think outside the box” and be creative on searches in challenging markets
Strong prioritization skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet surge efforts
