Position: qa automation engineer - windows
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000
Summary:
We are a small but well-established software companyOur product is c# winforms, linq to sql, ms sql server, with reports in client-side ms sql reports.
We are seeking for a qa guru to serve as the entire qa teamYou’ll create an assurance program from the ground up, and then implement to help ensure the highest quality softwareWe need someone who wants to test, not spend time in meetings talking about testing and project management.
Please include a cover letter detailing your experience in qa with windows programs (not websites or mobile apps), as well as creating and implementing automated tests and sql queries(you will not be considered for the position unless you submit the requested cover letter.)

Responsibilities
Determine required testingSpecify resources and time to meet the requirements.
Create and execute automated tests to validate data integrity and database function, with some ui testing.
Write and run complex sql queries to create, review and verify test data.
Evaluate test resultsFormulate potential solutions and recommendations for the programming team.
Adjust testing as needed, using post-deployment incidents, and to avoid and resolve false positives and negatives.
Assist in design to improve existing features and develop new features.
Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work-related experience
5 - 7 years’ experience in software quality assurance working with windows applications (not websites or mobile apps)
Expertise with uft / qtp
2+ years writing queries for complex sql server databases
Experience with development and testing techniques and practices with c#, .net and sql
Speak, read and write english fluently
Helpful skills and knowledge
Experience with counseling or healthcare emr systems
Programming and debugging complex code c# .net
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
