Description/responsibilities:

This role is a critical member of the consumer experience and innovation team, responsible for execution of projects that fall within the consumer experience and innovation portfolioThe candidate is an experienced project manager with knowledge of standard project management artifacts and protocolsThis person must have a proven track record of leading a project team to execute deliverables on timeStrong organizational skills and accountability are a mustExperience managing projects within a health plan and or delivering services to a health plan a plusRole requires good presence with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively lead assigned project(s) by creating project timelines, identifying key milestones and resources needed to successfully complete the work.
Manage project budget and identify financial implications of assigned project(s).
Track progress and provide regular updates regarding status of assigned project to all impacted parties, including reporting out to executive-level sponsors.
Identify project risks and define/execute appropriate mitigation plans.
Identify gaps and recommend improvements/opportunities for change relating to new or existing projects/processes.
Qualifications:
Project management skills as evidenced by experience working in a pmo or project delivery function with experience in a similar role in a service delivery organization.
Knowledge and experience of standard project management processes and tools, quality processes and best practices.
Self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented with a strong desire to succeed, meet deadlines, and share success.
Data driven, results oriented individual comfortable working with imperfectly defined structures and processes, while helping to identify gaps in process and codevelop improvements.
Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and key stakeholders.
Adaptable and flexible to various methodologies and process changes.
Experience/education
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
3-5 years project management experience in related or adjacent industries.
Pmp certification strongly preferred.
